Join us as a Sales & Service Engineer! We're looking for a dynamic and driven Sales & Service Engineer to join our team at Voith Paper in the UK. If you have a passion for service and a knack for building strong customer relationships, then join us to shape the future with sustainable technologies.
What you'll do:
• Manage sales and service functions for paper machine forming fabrics, press felts, shoe press sleeves, dryer fabrics, and roll products.
• Independently coordinate a fixed group of customers within the UK.
• Sustain, reactivate, and acquire individual contacts within the existing customer base.
• Contribute to the selling process by formulating enquiry data and preparing quotations in collaboration with internal departments.
• Provide technical support for machine optimization and problem-solving.
• Evaluate market and competitor behaviour to develop business plans and budgets.
• Participate in external contract negotiations and customer seminars/workshops.
What we're looking for:
• Completed technical studies and experience in engineering or paper technology.
• Experience in papermaking and paper machine clothing/rolls is highly desirable.
• High degree of self-motivation and proactive working ethic.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the UK.
• Strong team player with good MS Office skills.
• Valid driving license.
