About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), MLOps, and DevOps to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and production-grade infrastructure for AI/ML workloads. This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about automation, reliability, and operational excellence in cloud-native environments.

You will work closely with data scientists, platform engineers, and product teams to deliver robust, automated, and compliant platforms that support the full lifecycle of AI/ML solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Operate Cloud Infrastructure
  Build secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using services like GKE, Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Dataproc.

• Infrastructure Automation
  Use Terraform and Deployment Manager to automate provisioning, configuration, and ensure compliance through infrastructure-as-code.

• CI/CD and DevOps Practices
  Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, enabling efficient and reliable deployments.

• MLOps Pipeline Development
  Implement end-to-end MLOps workflows for model training, deployment, monitoring, and rollback using tools such as Vertex AI Pipelines, Kubeflow, or MLflow.

• Monitoring and Observability
  Integrate tools for monitoring, logging, and tracing to ensure platform reliability and detect anomalies in AI/ML models.

• Automation and Reliability Engineering
  Automate operational tasks, conduct performance tuning, and contribute reusable modules to enhance system resilience and delivery speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or MLOps roles.

• Proven experience designing and operating production systems on Google Cloud Platform.

• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in automation and scripting.

• Deep understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, and compliance in regulated environments.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring/alerting frameworks.

• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows and tools such as Vertex AI, Kubeflow, or MLflow is strongly preferred.
