(Senior) DevOps Engineer (f/m/x) – Trade Finance & Lending

Trade Finance and Lending is one of leading business departments in Corporate Bank working with clients around the globe. It has great dependency on IT platform to service the Bank’s clients. The group is working on technology refresh of their IT platform to enable new services for customers as well as to achieve next level of business processes automation.

In-house IT team already achieved great success designing, building and rolling out into production its strategic platform for lending business. Based on that success there is a further desire to build towards our strategic architecture.

As an DevOps Engineer (f/m/x), you will contribute to development strategic lending platform and its integrations within IT landscape inside DB and with external clients. You will collaborate with team leads and product owners, together with the team you will develop the solution and deliver it to end users. You will work on enhancing delivery automation, CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure and setup monitoring. We look for engineers with coding and design skills, self-driven and motivated. Quick learning, partnership and Agile spirit are essential components of the ongoing transformation of the leading Trade Finance Bank in Europe and globally.

Your key responsibilities

• Enhance environments and services monitoring to achieve observability and clear SLO tracking

• Design and execute automation solutions for deployments, testing and delivery

• Plan and execute cloud migration to GCP/K8s based platforms

• Support development teams during releases, ensuring stability of environments and robustness of deployment

• Application updates and support

• Work with central infrastructure team on mandatory upgrades for servers, databases and middleware

Your skills and experiences

• Several years of working experience and understanding of best practice in CI/CD automation, monitoring, SRE tooling

• Confident understanding of the modern SDLC concepts and tool stack, including Github/Bitbucket, TeamCity/Jenkins/ArgoCD, Artifactory

• Confident understanding and working experience with Containerization (Docker) and Orchestration (Kubernetes) tools, preferably within the GCP ecosystem.

• Confident understanding of the command line and Linux system administration

• Experience with modern monitoring/alerting toolsets: OpenTelemetry, NewRelic (Dynatrace or similar), Splunk

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Tools: Terraform, Ansible
