Strategy Manager (f/m/d) Mercedes pay GmbH Juli 2022 Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG Strategy Manager (f/m/d) Mercedes pay GmbH Aufgaben WHAT WE DO Pay directly from the car: Mercedes pay supports, among other things, in-car payments as well as payment processing via app and in the web shop. We want customers’ contact with Mercedes pay and the payment transactions on the global platform to be as seamless as possible. We are also developing exciting new payment products and solutions to provide customers with an even better user and payment experience. WHO WE ARE Mercedes pay GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG. Mercedes pay plays a fundamental part in the mobility and digitalisation strategy of Mercedes-Benz Group AG. We operate the central payment processing platform and act as the competence centre for payments at Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes pay launched in its first market in September 2018. We are now active in more than 40 countries on five continents, processing transactions for Mercedes-Benz products and services. Depending on the market, Mercedes pay may process transactions from Mercedes me connect store, the Mercedes me app, in-car payments or even supporting online vehicle sales.WHAT YOU WILL DO: You provide mid-term strategy support to leaders in the Mercedes pay / Mercedes-Benz organization You drive critical analysis and recommendations on priority topics and escalations related to the mid-term company strategy You develop clear, simple, and persuasive internal and external communications to influence executive stakeholders You will support the C-level leadership in the preparation of internal and external meetings and events (e.g. shareholder meetings, etc.) You understand and interpret complex data, competitive intelligence and market share data, identifying key actionable drivers of growth and translating them into market or partner specific strategies and initiatives for the business and product teams You will lead and own several initiatives in areas related to strategy implementation, strategy communication and strategy development (e.g. data strategy) Qualifikationen WHAT WE EXPECT You hold a bachelor or master’s degree in the field Business Administration, Economics, or comparable You have gained several years of professional experience, ideally within a strategy department or as a consultant You have fluent business English and preferably also German skills (spoken and written) You have good/very good knowledge of MS Office (in particular PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access) You are passionate about payment in the automotive industry Proficiency in articulating outputs, with the confidence to communicate with a senior executive level audience You have a can do attitude and don’t get frustrated in a fast-paced environment WHAT WE OFFER Modern and dynamic work environment Flexible and mobile working Attractive fitness offer Numerous employee discounts Excellent infrastructure This is a full-time job (also suitable for part-time).
