WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

In the responsibility as Supplier Quality Engineer, you will establish and lead the implementation of the global Supply Chain for the NAS® battery factories. Your areas of responsibility include:

• Ensure reliable supply of raw materials with qualification and development of the global supply chain
• Supplier product and process quality management (QMS, APQP, Six Sigma, Lean)
• Supplier series production and delivery assurance (problem solving, capacity management, delivery and reliability, part quality and conformity)
• New supplier launch support including quality and risk assessment audits
• Supplier qualification with standards and certification compliance management (ISO 9001, DIN, VDA, QEHS, UL, etc)
• Supplier performance monitoring with KPIs and supplier scorecard
• Support new product launch and supplier readiness and supplier risk management
• Supplier Task Force Lead and Project Management to ensure successful launch and operation
• Implementation of supplier continuous improvement initiatives including cost down measures

WHAT YOU OFFER

• Completed studies in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering.
• Solid, position-related work experience gained in automotive manufacturing, battery manufacturing or similar industries.
• Deep knowledge of product development and industrialization processes
• Capability to create tangible and sustainable results in a target-oriented way
• Excellent communication in English and in German, proficiency in Japanese is an additional plus
• Strong collaboration skills and passion to contribute to sustainable solutions limiting the implications of climate change
