Your tasks
- In your role, you will be responsible for qualifying suppliers and conducting audits; in doing so, you will support supplier development.
- You will ensure the implementation of preventive measures to improve quality.
- Based on the assessments, you will decide whether to block or approve a supplier.
- You will monitor and manage supplier performance, taking into account the defined key figures, and implement suitable measures.
- To ensure the quality of the processes, you will carry out process audits and reviews at the suppliers' premises, taking data analyses into account.
- Your tasks will also include planning, coordinating and carrying out supplier inspections.
Your profile
- You have successfully completed your training as a technician (m/f/d) or have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or materials technology.
- You have already gained initial experience in quality management, quality engineering and supplier quality management.
- Good knowledge of business processes such as production, logistics, design and development is an advantage.
- A qualification in electrical or mechanical testing (destructive/non-destructive testing) and certification as a lead auditor (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 19011, VDA 6.3) are an advantage for this position.
- You are proficient in the use of IT tools such as SharePoint, SAP and MS Office.
- You have a very good command of English. Further language skills (e. g. German) are an advantage.
- You have good management and communication skills, strong analytical skills and a results-oriented, solution-oriented and customer-oriented working style.
- The willingness to undertake occasional business trips (approx. 50 %) completes your profile.
