- Responsibility for project planning, design and integration of information and communication systems in vehicle modernization.
- Development of solutions for replacement or adaptation of existing systems.
- Development of system architectures and network topologies as well as the connection of additional systems to the network.
- Coordination of different departments.
- Adaptation and improvements in the field of cyber security of the existing vehicles from conception to implementation
- Identify the requirement for modernization based on availability of spare parts and -customer requirements
- Implementing the solution in the modernization project in collaboration with suppliers and under the leadership of the technical project manager
- Regular visit and exchange with the engineering team in Switzerland
How you will contribute
- Several years of professional experience as a system or electrical engineer, ideally in plant construction or railroad engineering
- Interest in production processes and product life cycles as well as the associated assessment of solution concepts according to economic criteria.
- Strong in teamwork and in working independently
- Business fluent in German or English is necessary
- Other languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel (20-40%)
