With the rise of Language Model Learning (LLMs), there is significant potential to enhance the ability of virtual assistants to fill in gaps that humans can naturally comprehend. Your research will be integral to understanding and improving long-term memory and user personalization within language models.   What awaits you? Conduct research into memory-augmented language models in order to extract, maintain, store and retrieve user preferences using a long-term memory module. Design algorithms to implement the memory module and integrate it into a conversational language model. Collaborate with team members to create a benchmark dataset that evaluates the long-term memory capabilities of virtual assistants in various car-related scenarios. Investigate and develop methods to enhance the ability of LLMs to answer user-specific questions through empathetic responses and contextual understanding. Present findings in team meetings and contribute to research publications as necessary. Please note that your thesis must be supervised by a university on your part. What should you bring along? Enrollment in a Master's program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field. Strong background in deep learning, natural language processing, and machine learning. Strong coding skills in programming languages such as Python, and familiarity with deep learning frameworks, e.g., Tensorflow, Pytorch, Langchain. Ability to work collaboratively in a research setting and contribute innovative ideas. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.   What do we offer?
