ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for a Working Student, Catalog Operations to support various editorial and operational processes needed in order to efficiently publish and update Audible's catalog metadata.

ABOUT YOU
In this position, you will work as part of a team that accurately enters, edits, and maintains metadata, audio assets and image art for all products. You will focus on quality control and affiliations management through complete and accurate data entry of all product metadata, which includes utilizing a variety of tools to quickly and thoroughly research various ad-hoc requests.

You will feel comfortable in this role if you enjoy working with systems, processes, structured data, and literature in a fast-paced environment, take pride in delivering accurate results, and have a passion for technology and media, specifically spoken word audio.

As a Working Student, Catalog Operations, you will...
- Enter, edit, proofread, and fact-check metadata records in our content management system prior to releasing a product to Audible marketplaces (Audible stores, Amazon, iTunes). Key elements such as a product's company identification, on-sale date, distribution rights, availability, pricing, provider, royalty earner, title, descriptive copy, and taxonomy are top priority areas of review with primary focus on, but not limited to, German, English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and French language products
- Perform, process and verify daily metadata update and correction requests received from providers, customers, and internal stakeholders via tickets or other sources, and ensure that requests are answered appropriately and in due time
- Support customer discovery by creating, verifying and updating product relationships such as Category Assignments, Series Affiliation (e.g., linking works in a trilogy), Title Authority (grouping different versions of works together) or Contributor Authority (bibliography)

- Compensation of €15.30 per hour

GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN

- You’re still a full time student, enrolled in a state-accredited (staatlich anerkanntem) Bachelor or Master in the Berlin/Brandenburg area and have at least 1.5 years of studies left - expected Graduation in 2027
- Business fluency in written and spoken English, German and one of the following European languages: French/Spanish/Italian (B2 or higher).
- Well versed in Windows operating environment: Excel, Outlook and Word

- Knowledge and expertise in JavaScript are a major plus
- High commitment to quality and ability to work independently
- Highly organized and demonstrated focused attention to detail
- Demonstrated multi-tasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
