SAP started in 1972 as a team of five colleagues with a desire to do something new. Together, they changed enterprise software and reinvented how business was done. Today, as a market leader in enterprise application software, we remain true to our roots. That’s why we engineer solutions to fuel innovation, foster equality and spread opportunity for our employees and customers across borders and cultures.
SAP values the entrepreneurial spirit, fostering creativity and building lasting relationships with our employees. We know that a diverse and inclusive workforce keeps us competitive and provides opportunities for all. We believe that together we can transform industries, grow economics, lift up societies and sustain our environment. Because it’s the best-run businesses that make the world run better and improve people’s lives.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The availability of our software solutions on different databases, operating systems and cloud solutions is one of SAP’s essential strategic advantages. To optimize each of these platforms for the applications running on top, we closely collaborate with technology partners in joint teams.
Our department is responsible for instrumenting and monitoring databases, operating systems and cloud solutions that are supported by SAP, including the related service and support tasks. Our technology partners are, among others, IBM, HP, Oracle, Microsoft, SUSE, Red Hat, VMware, and Amazon Web Services.
The close cooperation with partners and customers world-wide ensures a technologically challenging environment. You support a group of highly committed SAP and partner employees who develop the infrastructure for monitoring databases, operating systems and application servers (“Technical Monitoring Cockpit“). The development languages are SQL and ABAP. Development may also comprise the implementation of UIs based on SAPUI5.
You will support the implementation of interfaces for the technical monitoring of DB, OS, and application platforms.
Your job will provide you with a good overview of the entire SAP technology stack and the underlying infrastructure. In addition, you will gain experience in dealing with partners and customers throughout the world.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
