ABOUT THE TEAM The solution business (combination of products, services, and subscriptions) and result-based business models, also known as Outcome-Based Economy (OBB), determine the demand from industrial manufacturers for new solutions that promote these models and their maximum profitability and competitiveness. In the OBB Insights division, the team is working on an Industry Cloud solution for a cockpit (contract monitoring and contract simulation). Current tasks are: The maintenance of contract bundles The integration of financial data from SAP S/4HANA The visualization of this data within dashboards THE ROLE We are looking for a passionate working student with the following expectations and tasks: Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences You contribute to the success of our customers by implementing our OBB Insights solution and applications based on cloud native technologies, as part of a team. You will become part of an agile software development team, own topics and proactively drive those. You are excited to learn about new technologies, agile software development principles, and evaluate how they can help in the context of our applications. You are interested in developing cloud applications and already experienced in practical programming. As our customers trust us to deliver products they can use for business-critical processes you need to be aware of non-functional requirements like testing. ROLE REQUIREMENTS Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences Preferred fields of study: computer science, software engineering or a related field (Bachelor or Master) Computer skills: Programming and database skills, preferably in any kind of object-oriented programming language and a database query language. Experience with object-oriented programming principles, common data structures and algorithms. Experience with debugging and automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests) Language skills: Fluent in GERMAN and English (written and verbal), able to clearly communicate within our group Soft skills: Proactive team player with hands-on mentality, ideally within agile software development processes Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships).
