connecticum: the career fair in Berlin for Business, IT and Engineering

connecticum is one of Germany’s largest career fairs for Business, IT and Engineering, held in Berlin every April since 2002. Around 300 employers meet about 15,000 students, graduates and professionals over three days at the Convention Hall, MOA Berlin. connecticum 2027 runs from 27 to 29 April 2027, from 12:00 to 19:00 (noon to 7 pm) each day; admission is €10 and is valid for all three days. The fair is held in German and English.

300 renowned employers of all sizes and industries

Around 300 renowned employers will be there with exhibition stands, one-to-one conversations and their vacancies for students and graduates at every stage of study and career. Focus of the fair: Business, IT and Engineering.

Global players, medium-sized companies, family businesses, tech and IT companies. Alongside the well-known names, connecticum also brings you the so-called hidden champions – the “hidden” market and technology leaders you usually do not know because they do not operate in the consumer market.

Around 15,000 students, graduates and professionals

Visitors are students at every stage of their degree, final-year students, and junior and senior professionals in Business, IT and Engineering. Experienced professionals are an equally important target group.

connecticum 2027 again expects more than 15,000 prospective, young and experienced computer scientists, engineers and business graduates from Germany and Europe. They use connecticum specifically to find out from potential employers about current and future career and entry-level opportunities.

Each field has its own focus day:

  • 27 April 2027 – Business Focus Day
  • 28 April 2027 – IT Focus Day
  • 29 April 2027 – Engineering Focus Day

All employers and visitors can attend the fair on one, two or three days.

Admission & tickets

Admission: €10

The admission ticket costs €10 and is valid for all three days of the fair. You can visit the fair on one, two or three days. Tickets are available online at connecticum.de from February 2027. Admission is by ticket only.

Around 80% of exhibitors hold conversations in English, in particular international employers and IT companies, so you can visit the fair and talk to employers without German. You can bring your CV in German or English – both are accepted. Whether a particular role requires German depends on the employer; that is a good question to ask at the stand.

Can international candidates attend connecticum?

Everyone is welcome at connecticum. There is no restriction on nationality or place of residence, and the fair is open to international students, graduates and professionals. Whether an employer can hire candidates who need a visa or a work permit depends on the individual company – ask at the stand.

Is there a dress code?

No, the dress code at connecticum is “Come as you are”. What counts is the conversation, not the outfit.

What should I bring, and does my CV need a photo?

A CV or short profile is helpful as a basis for conversations and for the CV checks at the exhibition stands, but it is not mandatory. You can bring it in German or English – both are accepted. German CVs are usually one to two pages, in reverse chronological order; a photo is common in Germany but not required, and you are not obliged to include one.
