AI Architect- Large Language Models (m/f/d)

We are seeking an experienced and visionary architect to create and maintain an architecture that combines fast adoption of technological advances with efficient delivery and operation of scalable and secure solutions.

• As an AI Architect, you will be responsible for shaping the technical roadmap and orchestrating the architecture design and implementation process. Your primary objective will be to establish a robust framework that enables fast validation of novel technologies and methods as well as their seamless integration in production environments for optimal value and efficient operation.
• You shape and continuously develop the overall architecture vision and roadmap for projects using AI, considering all prerequisites end-to-end.
• Moreover, you drive innovation in close collaboration with success managers and product owners to maximize the value potential in AI adoption.
• You continuously keep yourself up to date with latest technological developments in close collaboration with the experts in our AI lab.
• You provide guidance and mentorship to projects as well as product teams and ensure adherence to the architectural best-practices and standards, conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality and reliable deliverables.
• In addition, you identify potential risks, performance bottlenecks as well as security and scalability challenges in the architecture and propose effective mitigation measures.

• degree (M.Sc./PhD) in computer science, mathematics or in a similar field
• extensive experience in software architecture design and practical implementation, strong hand-on developer experience is a plus
• proven track record of successfully delivered complex software projects as a solutions architect or in a product management, preferably using machine learning and AI components, from conception to deployment
• solid understanding of AI, ML, data science, data engineering, cloud technologies and the end-to-end process to make those work successfully from data acquisition, preparation, model building/training, deployment and performance monitoring in operation
• excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and address technical challenges effectively
• strong communication skills, ability to convince developers, preferably speaking experience or in giving tutorials
