Asset Manager Solar & Batteries, focus Batteries
who shares our passion for building a sustainable society and energy landscape. As Asset Manager you will be a member of the Asset Management Team in the Business Unit (BU) Solar & Batteries (SoBa) responsible for a part of the growing portfolio of operating Solar & Batteries Assets and supporting new projects with operational topics during development and construction.

You will have the following key responsibilities:
  • Support during development phase in defining the operational requirements for Batteries and Solar to deliver requested use-cases
  • Involvement during construction of Batteries and Solar projects in order to ensure all operational requirements are met and punch list items are minimized
  • Operational readiness and commissioning support prior to handover to Asset Management of Battery and Solar assets conform Vattenfall standards
  • Full responsibility for the day-to-day operation & maintenance of a growing portfolio of Battery and Solar assets
  • Optimization of Battery/Solar Operations & Maintenance processes
  • Coordination of maintenance contractors and stakeholders, E.g. O&M suppliers, the dispatch desk, Business controlling, HSE, Project Team, etc.
  • Ensure that Vattenfall HSE standards are maintained during operation
  • Technical and financial reporting on Battery and Solar assets
  • Assist in further development of best practices and processes for developing, constructing, operating and maintaining Battery and Solar assets
  • Help further develop the SoBa Asset Management Team
What we are looking for:
  • BS in (industrial) engineering or equivalent area
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in renewable energy or with Batteries
  • Positive and problem solving person with interest to help develop best practices
  • Highly driven by the appetite for new technical solutions and the necessity for a sustainable future
  • Comfortable working in an international environment with an asset portfolio in multiple countries
  • Fluency in English; a good working knowledge of Dutch and/or German is preferred

In addition, we have a clear strategy to develop our solar PV and battery operations further.
The location can be in Berlin, Amsterdam or Hamburg. However, you must expect travel activities related to your work in Northern Europe and you have colleagues placed at different locations.
