BMW Ireland, Dublin - Customer Support Executive - 13 Month Placement (July 2024) We are looking for a confident and eager to learn individual to join our Customer Support Team, responsible for delivering and coordinating our aftersales strategy and objectives. The Customer Support Department for BMW Ireland is managed and supported by the Customer Support Team in the UK, however we do have a local presence in the Dublin office working very closely with the UK team. We support the Retailer network in the Customer Support area of their business to assist growth and achieve joint objectives. In addition, we work closely with both our Sales and Marketing teams, with this role providing an exciting opportunity to gain valuable exposure to multiple areas of the business. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be a key and valued member of our team from day one, involved in a variety of key tasks including the following: Supporting the Business Development Manager: Communication with the Retailer network around aftersales products and programmes. Co-ordinate Retailer marketing materials and activities around aftersales products and programmes. Management of Lifestyle and Accessories promotional materials, references, and purchase points. Administrative tasks relating to Bodyshop and fourth level trade. Administrative support for our Customer Support digital platforms – service.ie and store.ie. Administrative support of our Retention Programme including liaising with Service Consultants and Retention Managers within the business. Contribute ideas as to how we can improve our customer experience, something we are looking to focus on as our primary source of differentiation going forward. Financial Administration: Act as the purchase requisitioner for our Customer Support Cost Centre. This includes raising purchase orders, goods receipting, and approving invoices. Raise Retailer bonus payments. Raise sundry invoices/credits. Customer Support Administration: Tasks include reporting and co-ordinating with suppliers and the Ireland Retailer network. Provide second-level support for Service Programmes including IE Service Inclusive. This will involve liaising with the UK teams, Retailers, and third party support services to resolve issues and queries. Support internal parts requisitions for the overall business and Financial Services. This will include internal re-charges, parts stocking, and management. Complete BMWi Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure ordering for our Retailers and customers. Act as the day-to-day contact for Customer Support queries internally within the BMW National Sales Company and our Retailers. Qualifikation: Qualifications and experience Studying towards a bachelor's degree in a Business-related field and on track to achieve at least a 2:2. A competent user of Microsoft Office software such as PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel. Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to remotely work with our UK team. Good attention to detail, coupled with consistently high levels of accuracy. An ability to work flexibly across a number of different and varied tasks. Previous work experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
