    As a Canadian Payroll Processor, you will work as part of the payroll team supporting 7,000 Rolls-Royce North American employees. In this role you will complete Canadian payroll runs for hourly and salary; including reviewing pay and concerns, answering employee business questions and adhere to deadlines to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Works with HR, People Services and timekeeping staff to ensure hours are correct and that payroll is processed (hourly and salary) accurately for all Canadian employees in accordance with Canadian Law

    • Ensures that Rolls-Royce complies with federal, provincial withholding (depositing and reporting – including end of employment ROE’s, yearend tax reporting on T4/T4A and Releve 1/2) requirements including issuing timely and accurate pay checks, maintaining adequate records of all data and transactions, responding to employee questions, resolving issues and assuring privacy of all payroll related records with high level of customer service

    • Ensures that payroll is compliant with all union collective bargaining agreements

    • Able to problem solve complex pay issues requiring additional analysis and/or information gathering; serve as back up to Payroll Manager as needed

    • Prepares a variety of statistical and other reports as requested internally and externally and be able to analyse information to ensure correct data is supplied (general ledger entries, internal/external audit and other support)

    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting

    • 1-2 years customer service experience

    • 4 years payroll experience preferred or CPP designation in lieu

    • Bilingual (English and French) required

    • SAP system would be considered an asset

    • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)

    Preferred Requirements:
