About the Internal Audit Team

An independent and proactive risk-based audit function that provides objective assurance, advice and insight through effective communication to enhance and protect the value of DWS.

DWS Internal Audit has over 40 staff located in New York, Frankfurt, Hong-Kong, Japan and London and is responsible for delivering high quality audit activities covering all relevant activities of DWS in Europe, US, UK and Asia. DWS Internal Audit adds value by providing independent and objective assurance to the Management Board of DWS and its group companies (“Group”), on the adequacy of the design, effectiveness and efficiency of the risk management system and the systems of internal control. The hallmarks of our professional, business focused, proactive risk-based work are transparency, integrity and independence. As our DWS Working Student you will:  

• Learn about the 3 LOD model
• Be introduced to the art of auditing
• Participate in the operations and practices function
• Be involved in the Internal Audit Framework, Quality Assurance, Monitoring, Projects and Technology oversight
• Get a view on the expectations from regulations, standards and stakeholders

We’re looking for:  

• Driven and committed people
• A team player with a curious mind   
• Someone with a keen interest in financial services but no experience is required  
• Self-driven, eager to learn, well organized team player with strong analytical skill
• You are enrolled in your Bachelor and Master’s degree program
• Advanced German language skills
