As a Finance Process Expert - Data & Methods you will be part of the global transformation of MTU Aero Engines AG's finance functions and shape the next generation of global finance processes and systems.
Following the successful technical migration to SAP S/4 HANA, the focus is now on the optimization and global implementation of harmonized process, data and method standards in the accounting and controlling environment. The position can work from Munich, Hanover or Ludwigsfelde near Berlin.
- You will actively participate in the SAP S/4 HANA Finance transformation with focus on master data and method management in accounting
- You will define binding, standardized master data and methods in cooperation with the specialists of the global MTU finance organization
- You will develop concepts for compliance with the defined standards (e.g. roles, processes, guidelines, tools)
- Using best-practice approaches, you will identify potential for harmonization and automation.
- You manage projects to realize the potential identified (e.g. harmonization of operational chart of accounts)
- You are in close coordination with related departments, e.g. Controlling, Sales, HR and Production, to ensure consistent end-to-end processes in the company and to meet the requirements for future management reporting
- You will work with the IT department to validate functional specifications and their technical implementation
- You will create training concepts and train employees in the course of the SAP S/4 HANA Finance transformation
- Degree in business administration, Information Systems or comparable
- At least three years of professional experience, e.g. as an SAP key user in an industrial company or in (IT-)consulting within the field of Accounting/Controlling
- Experience in master data management or in process and data analysis especially in SAP FI/CO desirable
- Experience in SAP implementation or transformation projects, e.g. in the S/4HANA Finance environment
- Strong understanding of data & processes within finance as well as knowledge of IFRS-/HGB-accounting principles
- Very good conceptual and analytical skills, personal initiative and assertiveness
- Strong teamwork, presentation and communication skills in German and English
