WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The Global Head of Human Resources Battery Materials leads the development and implementation of global HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's business objectives. This role demands a strong understanding of HR best practices and the ability to drive effective HR solutions across diverse units, regions, and cultures.

  • You provide strategic support and guidance to the President of the global division and executive leadership teams, ensuring the HR perspective is embedded in both strategic and operational decisions. Your role is pivotal in translating business strategies into HR priorities that comply with global and local regulations.
  • Furthermore, you lead and implement both short- and long-term initiatives and change projects across the division, aligning them with the evolving HR needs of all business units.
  • In addition, you drive the development of HR policies and processes in close collaboration with Executive HR, regional HR teams and employee representatives, while also steering workforce planning and reporting to ensure both strategic alignment and operational excellence. 
  • In talent and leadership development, you actively shape succession planning and executive candidate identification. 
  • Finally, you design and manage a harmonized compensation system tailored to the battery materials market and local practices - ensuring the unit remains competitive and aligned with its unique operating model.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • proven experience through more than 10 years in a global HR leadership position, as well as in various HR roles before (different HR organizations, different scope)
  • strong knowledge of HR best practices and regulations globally
  • demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies and programs across multiple regions
  • excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • exceptional communication and presentation skills in English and German, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences
  • proficiency in HR technology and systems, with experience in driving HR process automation and digital transformation
