    Based in Singapore, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as the key HR advisor and strategic partner to the business and employees across Southeast Asia and India. He/she formulates partnerships with the assigned markets to drive and deliver HR solutions, talent strategies, programs and processes. The HRBP delivers valued added HR consulting services to business leadership and employees reflecting the business objectives of the organization enabling business change, initiate talent management, employee development, succession planning and facilitating alignment of HR initiatives and business strategy. This position is a member of our global BIOTRONIK HR team and will have a 20% component to be the Asia Pacific contact point, accountable for HQ initiatied activities and the respective coordination for the roll out in the Asia Pacific subsidiaries.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business areas.
    • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance and defines HR action plans based on business requirements.
    • Manages and resolves complex employee-relations issues.
    • Provides guidance and input on workforce planning, business unit restructures and ensuring that core HR processes are applied appropriately and in a legally compliant manner.
    • Develops strategies for people management, succession planning and talent management for key managerial positions and for stakeholders.
    • Develops a plan for the business in order to guarantee that resources are managed strategically. This is inclusive of developing a strategic approach to recruitment of key positions.
    • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with other HR teams in order to develop and enhance solutions, processes, and programs that address current problems and anticipate future challenges.
    • Conducts research consistently to add value to the business by presenting appropriate reactive and proactive solutions for people management aligned with business strategy across all departments to enable the achievement of overall goals.
    • Participates in HR department meetings and contributes to the formulation of solutions for the HR department, business department, and business-wide challenges.
    • Collaborates with other HR departmental teams in determining approaches to matters of recruitment, compensation, career planning, talent development and other HR functions in order to ensure that the programs in place are effective and efficient.
    • Works collaboratively with departmental heads throughout the business, assisting them in understanding compensation and rewards programs, training and development programs.
    • Support communication and change management needs aligned to strategy changes, leadership, role changes or projects.
    • Provides coaching i.e. working with business leaders to resolve significant people and cultural issues, provides expertise in technical and regulatory aspects of employment including talent acquisition, performance management, rewards and disciplinary matters.
    • Communicates the business value of HR initiatives, works closely with Corporate HR team to ensure seamless execution, roll out, management and effective delivery of HR programs to the business and employees.
    • Plans and owns strategy execution and operational direction in alignment with local, APAC or global organization objectives.
    • Builds trust and influence senior leaders on HR directives.
    • Seeks feedback across functions and consistently work with cross functional teams for better effectiveness and efficiency.

    Your Profile

    • A Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or any other related field.
    • At least 8-10 years of experience as a HR Business Partner for a sales organization.
    • Proven track record of job continuity preferably in a healthcare company (Medtech or Pharma)
    • In depth experience of talent management cycle and program i.e. talent management model.
    • Knowledge of SAP HCM or Success Factors is required.
    • Proven track record of successful problem-solving skills.
    • Proven track record of coaching skills
    • Capable in facilitating smooth and effective communication and handle complex messages for different audiences in a manner that the audience at hand can resonate.
    • Traveling of approximate 10% is required for this role.
