As a driven, self-starter, you will be a strategic thinker and an executor, with outstanding collaboration skills. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent research, writing and communication skills and a proven track record of participating in complex policy and regulatory discussions.

We will trust you to:

  • Work in close partnership with other senior experts in the External Relations team when it comes to Bloomberg’s activity in India
  • Brief senior management on key developments on the Indian policy and regulatory landscape to inform our business strategy in this key market
  • Build, maintain and expand regulatory and policy relationships in India, in particular with the Reserve Bank of India and the Securities and Exchanges Board of India
  • Conduct technical discussions with policymakers, regulators and supervisors to represent the key views of Bloomberg on important regulatory developments impacting our business in India
  • Support the advocacy priorities of the wider External Relations team and collaborate with the communications and marketing, as well as Legal and Compliance teams
You'll need to have:
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience working directly or collaborating with policymakers and regulatory authorities in India
  • A deep understanding of financial markets and Bloomberg’s role in the Indian and global financial ecosystem, in addition to a sound knowledge of the policy and regulatory landscape and processes in India
  • A solid understanding of policy and regulatory developments in other key jurisdictions globally, especially in APAC and EMEA
  • Proven experience of contributing to and shaping policymaking and a strong track-record of working with policymakers and regulators in India and internationally
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, as well as adapt to working in a fast-paced environment and with an international team.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
