Digital Client Channels for our Commercial Banking Tribe Domain
You will join the Commercial Banking Tribe Domain, the digital engine behind Deutsche Bank’s small and medium‑sized enterprise (SME) business in Germany, one of the bank’s strongest growth areas.
Our mission:
To transform the digital experience of ~800,000 clients across three major brands. We build and scale the BizBanking platform, enabling modern digital sales journeys, intuitive self‑service capabilities, and highly automated banking processes.
As a Lead QA Engineer (f/m/x) in the Digital Client Channels tribe, you will define and drive our quality strategy for Online Banking, Mobile Banking (iOS & Android), Backend‑for‑Frontend services, and backend APIs.

Your key responsibilities
Lead the overall QA strategy for Web Frontend, Backend services, and native iOS/Android applications, ensuring consistent quality across all digital client channels.
Manage and develop QA Experts across multiple cross‑functional teams, driving engineering excellence, performance development, and shared quality standards.
Establish and scale automated testing across both Frontend and Backend, including UI, API, and mobile automation integrated into CI/CD.
Champion TDD and automation‑first engineering while introducing AI‑assisted testing approaches for intelligent test generation, regression discovery, and defect analysis.
Oversee quality reporting, test analytics, and traceability using Allure Test Management, ensuring transparency across squads and brands.
Your skills and experiences
Extensive experience in automated testing for Web Frontend, Backend APIs/services, and native iOS/Android applications, using modern frameworks and device farms.
Proven leadership background managing QA engineers across several teams, with strong capability to set direction, coach experts, and build high‑performing quality communities.
Deep expertise in establishing automated testing environments covering UI, API, contract, integration, performance, and mobile testing across Frontend and Backend landscapes.
Strong knowledge of TDD and experience applying AI‑assisted testing or generative AI tools to accelerate test coverage and improve defect detection quality.
Fluent or native English and a solid understanding of quality engineering fundamentals including testability, resilience, observability, and enterprise reporting tools such as Allure.
