Corporate Banking IT

Corporate Banking IT is running a number of large-scale transformation projects in the areas of Cash Data and Core Banking. The projects involve renovation of the application landscape, building modular architecture, delivering new products and services, and creating foundation for new business/revenue models.

As a SRE Engineer (f/m/x) you will be responsible for providing 24x7 availability of the strategic Cash Data and Core Banking applications.

Your key responsibilities

• Implement and improve Production Monitoring, Impact assessment, and Resolution processes in close collaboration with Development and Production teams.

• Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams on Production releases; Ensure system stability through enhancement/maintenance periods

• Run stability projects to increase resilience and recovery speed, to improve end-to-end traceability and transparency of the business flows

• Discover the root causes and find solutions in collaboration with development teams - explore source code, databases, application logs; Drive end-to-end project to improve supportability, application logs, transactions tracing

Your skills and experiences

• Multi-year experience in the areas of SRE and providing Production stability for global 24x7 transaction processing platforms

• Solid technical background on servers, storages, networks, databases, software development processes; Knowledge of Messaging, Database solutions, Unix, CI/CD tools (Jenkins is a plus)

• Background in one Software engineering professions – Development, Quality Assurance, DevOps; Ability to write scripts/code on a programming language (good Bash/Python/Groovy knowledge is a plus)

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
