In this master thesis project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of photon-counting detectors for CT systems and compare their performance with conventional energy-integrating detectors. By evaluating the benefits of this technology in the automotive industry, your research will play a crucial role in enhancing the capabilities of CT systems and revolutionizing non-destructive testing in the automotive sector.   Please note that your thesis must be supervised by a university on your part.   What should you bring along? You are in your final stages of your Master’s Studies in Physics, Engineering or other comparable technical degree program. Ideally, you already gained some experience in the field of X-ray imaging. Ideally, you already gained some experience in the field of image processing. Analytical thinking skills. Fluent in English and good German skills.
