Senior Expert for Chemical Compatibility in BA UX (m/f/diverse) Apply now Senior Expert for Chemical Compatibility in BA UX (m/f/diverse) Description Establish a new expert field for Chemical Compatibility within Business Area User Experience Technology development from perspective of chemical processes involved in product components manufacturing Definition of appropriate material stacks, materials and processes for Business Area User Experience products from chemical point of view Chemical characterization of materials within component specifications Chemical compatibility analysis of materials for different components Support chemistry relevant qualification failures analysis and technical counterpart with suppliers and customers for correspondent topics Drive specific technologies scouting (e.g. bonding and coating materials, functional foils), roadmaps and solutions benchmarking from own expert area perspective Co-work with other departments (e.g. operations, experts) in regards to display system materials (e.g. optical bonding, coating, shielding tapes) evaluation and release Qualifications Master or PhD Degree in chemistry or comparable qualification Several years of experience in chemistry field with focus on display materials, plastics and die cast Advanced understanding of the applied chemical processes in display components and display products manufacturing Systematic analysis of potential materials and combinations (tools like problem solving, DOE, DFSS) Knowledge in working with MS Office, as well as creating presentations, standards and trainings German and English language skills required Able to build up a network and experienced in working in cross functional and international teams Hands on mentality and experienced in challenging work environment as well as escalations Applications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
