The Munich based Accounting team is looking for a Financial Analyst Accounting to join our accounting organization and become a major contributor to our Accounting team. Key job responsibilities
• Being a strong team player taking ownership and demonstrating self-initiative
• Drive or participate in national and international accounting project
• European business partnering within the Amazon group
• Develop and manage scalable and automated processes
• International coordination with the global Accounting organization
• Responsibility for month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing of financial books.
• Assessment and evaluation of GAAP-to-GAAP differences
• Support improvements in accounting processes, internal workflows and implementation of best practices
About the team

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Munich, BY, DEU
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Several years of relevant experience in accounting in an international environment at a multinational company
- Used to work and handle multiple GAAPs
- IT-literate with solid MS Office skills
- Strong communication skills in English (C1)
- Experience in Turkish GAAP, both TFRS and VUK
- Fluent in Turkish
