About the team and the role:

We are seeking a trusted finance partner in the Global Marketing Finance team. You will be part of a global team which has the mission to make sure that the company’s marketing dollars are spent in the most efficient way. This analyst will play a key role in supporting our UK and Germany business and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

What you will accomplish:

• In the role of Senior Financial Global Marketing Analyst, you will perform a variety of tasks ranging from monthly/quarterly financial close, including budget tracking, business partnering, preparing accruals, flux analysis, forecasting, and accurate reporting of financials.
• Lead weekly calls with business partners on budget tracking and be a relevant business partner that helps provide in-depth financial analysis on spend in order to understand and align on business and financial goals.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas of potential risk or upside due to business environment and provide solutions.
• Utilize consolidation techniques and software to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Can use various systems and tools for appropriate data gathering consolidation and analysis of financial data necessary for management reporting.
• Accurately and timely prepare monthly management reports and assist with additional Ad Hoc reporting requirements by collaborating with cross-functional teams and analyzing existing data.
• This exciting, hands-on opportunity reports to the Sr Finance Global Marketing Manager and will have frequent interactions with Senior Management of the company
• The leading candidate will also look to identify and implement streamlined business processes and work with Us counterpart to ensure we are aligning globally - reducing cycle times, allowing for more in-depth analysis of performance and financial trends, and has a solutions based approach

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Finance
• Experience with financial systems and tools such as SAP
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including formulas), PowerPoint, and other financial software

Recommended:

• Big 4 Experience
• Ability To work with deadlines.
• Committed self-starter with a demonstrated history of strong work ethic and reliable task completion under minimal direction, who shows the desire to learn and has a great intellectual curiosity.
