Digital Assets and Crypto-currencies

Join our innovative team in the fast-evolving world of digital assets and cryptocurrencies, where you'll develop and secure decentralized systems using blockchain technology. This domain encompasses creating and managing digital currencies, tokenized assets, and NFTs, enabling secure, transparent, and efficient peer-to-peer value exchange without intermediaries.

As a hands-on Solution Architect Lead (m/f/x), you will be responsible for end-to-end from front-to-back delivery of entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals.

Your key responsibilities

• Use your experience for designing and developing new and existing microservice applications within a cloud-based high availability architecture. 

• Assist in the adoption of modern engineering practices, design principles and Agile methodology across the Digital Asset Custody tribe. 

• Engage with the business sponsors and stakeholders across multiple business domains and geographies to implement requirements according to agreed timelines. 

• Partner with DevOps/QA on continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) to ensure quality solutions are delivered to end users and provide Level 3 support when needed. 

Your skills and experiences

• Skilled in building productive networks to drive collaboration, re-use, and knowledge sharing; you also effectively & constructively communicate complex messages in a clear and concise manner. 

• Prior experience with JVM based stack (Spring, Kotlin, Java), preferably with near real time event-based systems (JMS/pub-sub, Kafka) and especially related to infrastructure, networks, cyber security, and data/analytics technology. 

• Significant prior experience with building Micro-services with REST APIs as well as strong knowledge of Relational Database (SQL), NoSQL (document-oriented and column-based storage) as well as in protocols and formats (HTTPS, Websockets, SOAP, JSON, XML). 

• Prior hands-on experience with architecting solutions in cloud-based environment using e. g. Kubernetes/server-less as well as in re-architecting and designing existing applications for the cloud – ideally Google (GCP) as well as the ability to consider additional dimensions (e. g. Cyber Security e.g. OAuth/OIDC, TLS, Financials, Risk, Time to Market, Compliance) on top of the architecture drivers, to propose balanced and feasible architecture solutions. 

• A team player with strong communication skills who enjoys sharing knowledge and best practices, learns quickly, listens actively, mentor’s junior engineers, and communicates effectively in written and spoken English; German language skills are a plus.
