Come join our Machine Learning and Personalization team at Amazon Music in Berlin! Amazon Music is an immersive audio entertainment service that deepens connections between fans, artists, and creators. In our Berlin team, we develop infrastructure and artifacts for to drive ML/AI-based personalization of customer experiences, like playlists, or visual pages. We work closely with 17+ teams across the globe to deliver impact to our Amazon Music customers, and innovate on really exciting intersections of ML and AI, and Music and culture!
Key job responsibilities
- Manage cross-team and cross-organization delivery of long-term platform programs
- Work with product management, and science and engineering teams to identify technical requirements, risks & limitations, and bottlenecks
- Meet with internal and external customers to understand future requirements, and to track ongoing progress in collaborations
- Build, integrate, and maintain reporting for areas of responsibility within existing reporting schemes and mechanisms. Where required, implement new reporting.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders in multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver on agreed upon milestones. Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs Plan and coordinate events including facilitation and action item management.
- Develop, own, and report on: program goals, performance, efficacy and efficiency to a variety of stakeholders across different technical domains and at varying cadences (weekly / monthly / quarterly) for area of responsibility.
About the team
Machine Learning/Personalization is a 100+ person team in Berlin, Seattle, and San Francisco. Our Berlin team is 40+ people, developing infrastructure that is used with 17+ teams in Music to power personalization across all of Amazon Music.

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
- Experience working directly with engineering teams
- Software development experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Experience of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
