Supplier Quality Engineer
Responsibilities:
Work with cross-functional team on supplier quality and development activities (Qualification, Performance, Review and Development).
Implement supplier assessment and approve new supplier, and development of existing suppliers.
Conduct supplier audits to quality standards according to Voith requirements( VDA6.3) and in support of supplier selection and improvements.
Lead FAI to assure flawless launch.
Responsible for supplier’s FAI process and approve.
Make standard for incoming inspection.
New projects monitoring(APQP) and supporting on site in developing process.
Lead and organize quality control for incoming
Problem solving for supplier parts issue in incoming inspection,production and 0km
Issue non-conformity report to supplier, evaluate 8D report and monitor
Drive effective root cause analysis and corrective action for problem solving in new projects developing process and on the escalation issues. Spearheads process improvement activities for supplier development.
Drive supplier continuous improvement activities.
Monitor supplier performance in a timely basis and actively work with them to achieve minimum or no defect.
Supplier quality /delivery performance monitoring and continuous improvement driving.
Requirements:
Bachelor with Material/Mechanical or similar Engineering required.
More than 5 years’ experiences as molding, casting, forging, Gear, stamping, soldering, machining, welding,electric, supplier quality or technical engineer in auto or rail industry required.
Experience of FAI procedure and able to review FAI submission compliance.
Experience of new supplier development, audit and assessment.
Good negotiation and communication skills, Logical thinking, proactive and efficient.
Strong problem solving competency & experience.
Persevered under pressure and self-disciplined.
Excellent Quality system IATF16949 or/and ISO/TS 22163 knowledge and experience.
English communication skills, both written and oral.
Familiar with casting and manufacturing process not limited to molding, casting, forging, Gear, stamping, soldering, machining, welding and measuring plus GD&T.
In addition to knowledge of quality management methods, you also have experience in common quality methods such as 8D systems, Six Sigma, Poka Yoke, FMEA, etc.
