Responsibilities:

  • You will control and optimize all of the company's commercial processes and develop adequate financial strategies.
  • You are the future-oriented driver and communicative sparring partner for the economic orientation of the company.
  • Preparation of financial planning and forecasts: in detail, on-time budget plans and forecasts, you identify and manage financial risks and opportunities.
  • In Financial Reporting & Controlling, you will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements on time and their consolidation in accordance with IFRS, GAP and local rules in compliance with all legal, tax and other requirements.
  • You will communicate the financial key figures developed to the management and monitor and optimize the existing key figure system and all internal controlling and reporting processes.
  • Preparation of the annual financial statements and accompany the annual audit.
  • Coordination and permanent development of all commercial matters in financial, asset and operational accounting.
  • Liquidity planning and management: Monitor and release cash flows, manage bank accounts, and allocate the appropriate funds.
  • In risk management & receivables management: Assessing and managing financial risks, controlling and monitoring the dunning process
  • Responsible for contract and insurance, commercial sales and order processing as well as financial accounting
  • Responsible for the supervision of the subsidiaries and member of the BoD.
  • Advising on all business issues and developing analyses in decision-making processes, creating cost transparency.
  • Preparation of ad-hoc analyses on all sales and purchasing-related issues
  • First point of contact for external parties such as auditors, tax consultants, banks, lawyers, etc.
  • Compliance and governance: Monitor and implement company policies while ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and their internal controls
  • Responsible for IT, data protection, permanent organizational development and the design and implementation of digitization processes.
  • You will manage sales and product lines in a disciplinary manner.

Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to comprehend complex commercial documents
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software and Navision

Education and Experience:

  • You have a degree in business administration, economics, accounting or a related field, ideally with a master's degree or a comparable qualification.
  • As Managing Director or CFO, you have several years of experience in a senior finance position.
  • In addition, you have excellent knowledge of financial management, budgeting, accounting and risk management and have profound experience in the preparation of interim reports, financial statements, annual planning and cash flow planning.
  • Furthermore, you have in-depth knowledge of strategic planning and business management, as well as high analytical skills, entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to develop innovative solutions
  • Experience in working with the board of directors and leading interdisciplinary teams, with banks and other relevant external partners is a prerequisite
  • We also see strong leadership skills, resilience and integrity as a prerequisite, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Independent and proactive thinking and acting round off your profile
  • Understanding of business processes
