Undergraduate Internship Program - Controlling Internship
Summary:
Voith Paper is looking for a Controlling Intern to assist and support the Controlling department. The Finance Intern will be responsible to complete a full Fixed asset count and suggest necessary adjustment to controlling register.
Responsibilities:
Assignment of tasks that support the business through finance processes. Examples include:
- Create project plan for Fixed asset count.
- Conduct the count.
- Verify discrepancies.
- Work across departments with various managers.
- Follow up on outstanding issues.
- Suggest necessary adjustments to be made to Asset register.
- Present lessons learned and make suggestions to better the count process.
- Perform other projects and assignments as the arise and could take priority.
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in an Accounting/Finance degree program, with a minimum of two years completed.
- Previous experience in project-business would be a plus.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS (accounting standard for the group consolidation).
- Experience with Accounting/Financial reporting would be a plus.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP system would be a plus.
- Team working ability for an effective interaction within the Finance & Controlling Team.
