Capital Markets Technology

We are hiring in the Capital Markets technology space supporting a global business of bankers across Debt Capital Markets and Global Risk Syndicate – business areas that bring new bond issues to market on behalf of clients, over a €1 trillion yearly.

Our wider technology team supports the key DB Primary Bond Issuance platform for deal execution process from issue announcement and pricing to trade booking, post deal review and reporting, control and audit business cases.

Technology stack is a mix of: Java, GWT and React with Oracle databases. Hosted using a mix of OpenShift and GCP.

As a Development Lead (f/m/x) you will be filling a key leadership role in the team, responsible for delivery of solutions to the business. You will be an advocate of extreme programming with a rich experience of using those practices to deliver complex software projects using an incremental and evolutionary approach. You will have an opportunity to champion the adoption of extreme programming practices and to teach the team to deliver in an agile manner.

Your key responsibilities

• A commitment to quality applying practices such as test-driven development.
• Pragmatic mindset driving quicker time to market and early user feedback.
• Promoting clean code principles to enable sustainable production solutions.
• Performing code review, pairing sessions, and sharing knowledge.
• Support the existing collaborative and trusting environment.

Your skills and experiences

• Server side JVM components with broad and deep and solid experience of Java.
• An advocate of XP principles; test-driven development, pair/mob programming, iterative development.
• Continuous delivery of working software.
• Growing mindset and team leadership skills.
• Good skills in written and spoken English.
