The Duty Manager is responsible for:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with premium customers
  • Act as a customer care ambassador if designated by the Station Manager
  • Monitor staff appearance and attitude to meet company standards
  • Conduct daily flight briefings with personnel
  • Collaborate with the Station Manager to establish handling processes for alternate airports
  • Coordinate logistical support for audits by carriers and authorities
  • Maintain local instructions and system databases
  • Prepare duty plans and daily duty rosters if assigned by the Station Manager
  • Report operational irregularities according to operator’s manuals
  • Ensure adherence to respective operator’s manuals and local interface agreements

The ideal Duty Manager should meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • College degree/vocational training desirable
    • Depending on analysis of local labor market and education systems in respective country
  • Bachelor's degree desirable
  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience
    • thereof a minimum of 1 year of demonstrated work experience in ground operations is required
  • Leadership experience desired
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Czech language skills required
  • Knowledge of German language desirable
  • Knowledge of airport procedures and processes
  • Airline industry experience
  • PC and aviation specific supported software / tools including all MS Office programs knowledge required
  • Project Management and strategic thinking skills required
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Passionate about resolving conflicts
  • Dedicated to ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Must be willing to work shifts
