Tasks

Your tasks as Engine Teardown Manager may include, among others:

  • Solely responsible for management of engine teardown events
  • Overall fulfillment responsibility for assigned events
  • Responsible for smooth operation and correct documentation of engine teardowns
  • Coordinate with the business units involved to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Economically responsible; Profit/Loss responsibility; Revenue targets must be met in accordance with the contracted services
  • Cost controlling and reporting, determine strategies to improve
  • Coordinate material requirements and supply-performance with all parties involved
  • Support calculation process of events and contract negotiations with suppliers, material planning, product sales, etc.
  • Implementation of process improvement measures

Requirements

To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree desirable
  • 2-3 years of experience in Aviation, Account Management, Customer Service or Sales & Marketing required
  • Technical/engineering experience a plus
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German language desirable
  • Knowledge in Aviation MRO, Engine Parts repair and Technical/Engineering
  • Knowledge in SAP and Business Warehouse
  • MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint as expert
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent business sense
  • Excellent cost consciousness
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Responsible of budget, costs and revenue
  • Willingness to travel
  • Shift work / overtime
  • Manage constant time pressure
  • Manage high stress levels
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
