As a Head of Health, Safety & Food , at BMW Group Plant Debrecen you're a crucial part of our vision to revolutionize the way we think about cars. As Head of Health, Safety & Food , you will be responsible for the local team and support them by the development, implementation and steering of local concepts, processes, systems and tools based on the requirements of the served entities, aligned with the BMW Group wide framework provided by the governance functions and compliant with all local legal regulations. What awaits you? Ensure local specification and implementation of the BMW Group strategies, policies and standards in methods, processes and systems by planning and conducting local measures accordingly, compliant with local legal regulations; and your main focus will be on the Safety role. Meeting all legal, compliance and regulatory requirements incl. consultancy and enabling of the management about liabilities of the company regarding Health Management, Occupational Safety and Food Services – and you have right of recitation at the managing director. Responsible for advising and enabling of all disciplinary leaders of BMW Manufacturing Hungary Kft. to fulfill employer‘s obligations regarding occupational safety and health management, compliant with all local legal regulations. Decide about local external cooperation partner, provider or vendors aligned with the BMW Group wide standards; and you have governance competency towards local HR organization, management, and associates regarding compliance with legal regulations as well as BMW internal HR policies and regulations. Represent BMW Manufacturing Hungary Kft towards relevant public authorities and government agencies; and you have also competency to represent all topics relevant for health management, occupational safety and food services in respective local management circles and working groups as well as in central HR platforms and initiatives as representative for the market. Conduct local audits and inspections. Approve working processes, equipment and machines regarding safety and ergonomic standards regarding Health Management, Occupational Safety and Food Services.   What should you bring along? Min. Bachelor degree in a relevant field (HR, Business Administration, Economics etc.). Min. 7 years of experience in Occupational safety. Commitment to work at BMW Group. Willingness to learn, be open minded. English and Hungarian - business fluent both written and spoken, German would be an advantage.   What do we offer?
