The Head of Market Segment Strategy for Engineered Wood drives the future growth of Henkel Construction Adhesive Technologies

• Develop and execute comprehensive market segment strategies in alignment with organizational goals and sustainability agenda
• Drive key strategic initiatives to win the future market opportunities
• Develop growth opportunities through adjacencies, white spaces, and new business models
• Evaluate customer needs and build application-specific value propositions in close proximity to regional teams and customers
• Drive innovation pipeline with product development team by identifying untapped market opportunities
• Provide strategic insights and evaluation criteria to support M&A activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute segment-specific initiatives and drive growth while advancing sustainability objectives

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business administration, engineering or science; MBA is a plus
• Minimum five years experience in corporate strategy, business development, strategy consulting role or equivalent
• Experience in relevant industries (e.g. materials, engineering, adhesives) with a strong technical component in previous roles is a plus
• Experience in a business driven by a complex regulatory environment is a plus (e.g. certification, building codes)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Proven leadership skills in a complex and diverse environment
• Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization
• Fluent English language skills
