We are now looking for a Project Manager Materiality (d/f/m) in our global sustainability team, which is responsible for Henkel’s sustainability reporting.

YOUR ROLE
  • Manage the CSRD materiality assessment for Henkel, overseeing internal stakeholder engagement and providing project oversight throughout the process
  • Ensure that all necessary documentation is collected from stakeholders to maintain auditability and transparency of materiality assessment results
  • Provide support to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and Climate Risk assessment initiatives, as well as other key projects focused on evaluating and describing the impact and relevance of ESG factors on Henkel's business operations
  • Develop comprehensive process documentation for selected topics to contribute to the Internal Control System for CSRD Reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to co-manage assurance activities and engage with auditors to facilitate the auditing process, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards
  • Work in gremia and engage in advocacy efforts to drive ESG initiatives especially related to CSRD implementation with internal and external stakeholders
YOUR SKILLS
  • Master’s degree in Sustainability, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field 
  • 5 years of relevant professional experience in sustainability or related fields with a focus on project management, ESG principles, or regulatory compliance 
  • Proven track record of managing projects, developing process documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives and compliance efforts
  • Understanding of sustainability reporting requirements (CSRD), ESG principles, climate risk and materiality assessment methodologies
  • Experience in working with auditors and assurance activities related to CSRD and ESG reporting would be beneficial
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in collecting, organizing, and maintaining documentation to ensure transparency of assessment results
  • A strong multi-tasker-capable of planning, organizing details while communicating effectively on all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence within a multi-matrix organizational structure, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive initiatives forward
  • Proactive approach to decision-making and problem-solving, coupled with a hands-on mentality
  • Business Proficiency in English, German is a plus
