    Your future plans

    • As part of the Energy System Analytics team at RWE AG, you will be responsible for setting up the newly created Funding Monitoring Office (FMO) which controls the screening of available funds at European, national and regional level for the financial support of planned investment projects of the RWE Group and contribute to the further establishment of the function in the Group
    • You will discuss the international need for funding in the various RWE Group companies and you will be responsible for the procedural support for obtaining funding (e.g. for innovative battery storage systems or hydrogen projects)
    • You will coordinate the systematic monitoring of relevant funding programmes on an international level in close cooperation with the teams from the hydrogen department and the RWE Group's R&D departments as well as external service providers
    • You will be responsible for carrying out techno-economic analyses of new technologies and their commercial impact
    • You will observe ongoing technological developments in the national and international energy industry
    • You will translate complex content and analysis results into meaningful and purpose-driven presentations for the top management

    Your powerful skills

    • You have successfully completed your studies in Economics, Engineering or Natural Sciences, ideally with a reference to the energy industry
    • You have gained initial experience in the energy industry (e.g. as a research assistant, consultant or analyst)
    • You can apply the common methods of economic analysis and interpret results
    • Based on your analytical and conceptual skills, you can prepare and communicate complex issues in a concise and target-oriented manner
    • You have business fluent knowledge of German and English and it is easy for you to come into contact with people in an international environment
    • You enjoy creative work and you have the ability to develop out-of-the-box solutions
    • Your confidence and your presentation skills will help you to win and convince people
