As an L3 Development Engineer at Deutsche Bank, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining and enhancing critical software applications. Your role involves investigating and resolving complex technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the stability and performance of mission-critical systemsthat are key for achieving Deutsche Bank’s future state Anti Financial Crime capabilities.

Your key responsibilities
1. Automated Deployment:
Deploy applications, microservices, and infrastructure components using automation tools.
Maintain version control for code and configuration files.
2. Infrastructure Management:
Provision and manage cloud resources (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency.
3. Release Management:
Coordinate software releases, ensuring smooth transitions between development, staging, and production environments.
Rollback changes when necessary.
4. Containerization and Orchestration:
5. Collaborative Problem-Solving:
Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack (network, servers, databases, applications).
Collaborate with teams to resolve incidents promptly.
6. Performance Optimization:
Monitor system performance metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network).
Optimize configurations for better resource utilization.
Your skills and experiences
Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or another relevant programming language.
Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
Understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Ability to analyze complex issues logically and propose effective solutions.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
8+ years of experience in software development, preferably in financial services or a related domain.
Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
