Tasks

How do we elevate reliability? This role involves the following tasks, among others

  • Achieves sales budget targets for assigned accounts
  • Identifies/manages opportunities with existing customers to negotiate new profitable long-term business
  • Acquires new customers using sales tools and external information
  • (Re-)Negotiates special rate agreements and LTCs considering market and performance
  • Develops/sells customer-oriented logistic solutions with Handling and Inside Sales
  • Shares key customer information with Commercial Manager and teams
  • Acts as “touch point” for Claims and Complaints for transfer to CST/accounting
  • Creates rate offers, with and without guarantee of transportation
  • Enters into transportation agreements with customers

* Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements

Are you ready to Take-off with us? Know more about the requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's degree desirable
  • 2-3 years previous cargo experience, preferred sales experience or in a related area such as in the transport and logistics industry
  • Excellent skills of written and spoken English language
  • German language desirable
  • Airfreight, logistics, transportation & sales knowledge required
  • Advanced IT knowledge, preferably including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
    Outlook
  • Must be willing to work shifts
  • Must possess a valid work permit in the U.S.
