Project Manager Financial Reporting (m/f/d) - Hybrid Option GER

For our Financial Reporting department, we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to coordinate various cross-functional projects (e.g. transition, IT, optimization), focusing on the transition from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4 HANA. As the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of these projects.

• In this role you coordinate various projects in the area of Financial Reporting, from system migration related to mergers and acquisitions to the migration from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4 HANA.
• In addition you collaborate with international, cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives and deliverables with a focus on the system migration process.
• You develop and align a detailed project plan including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Furthermore, you coordinate and lead the implementation Expert community in Financial Reporting and ensure collaboration between the Expert and operational teams.
• You ensure accurate application of accounting principles to merger and acquisition cases within projects and align between various streams.
• You monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Lastly, you provide regular status updates, reports, and presentations to different stakeholders, including senior management, highlighting the progress and outcomes of the system migration project.

• degree in business administration, finance and accounting, or a related field
• strong communication in English (German is a plus) and leadership skills
• exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• strong organizational and time management skills
• good understanding of accounting processes and IFRS
• motivated and experienced project manager with a passion for financial reporting and preferably some expertise in system migration from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4 HANA

• Location-independent work models with defined days of presence in Berlin and place of residence in Germany.
• Gross annual salary (full-time): 64.000 - 67.000€, depending on qualification and work experience.
