Commercial Banking Tribe

You’ll be joining the Commercial Bank Tribe, who is focusing on the special needs of the small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, a designated area for further growth and investment within Corporate Bank.

We are responsible for the digital transformation of ~800.000 clients in 3 brands, i.e. the establishment of the BizBanking platform including development of digital sales and service processes as well as the automation of processes for this client segment.

We are on a journey of an extensive digitalisation of business processes and to migrate our applications to the cloud. We are working jointly together with our business colleagues in an agile setup and we are collaborating with stakeholders and engineers from other areas thriving to achieve a highly automated and adoptable process and application landscape.

As Senior IT Product Owner (m/f/x) you will work in one of our Sales and Services Squads working on implementing user-friendly and efficient digital sales and service processes for our corporate clients. Together with our stakeholders from both Business and IT you will verify the requirements, develop a product roadmap and coordinate the activities for the implementation.

Your key responsibilities

• You define, prioritize and manage the product backlog and facilitate collaboration between Business stakeholders and the analysts, engineers and testers in the Squad.

• You communicate with business and technology stakeholders, identify and assess requirements and critical dependencies.

• You shape solutions and product strategies by developing an understanding for the business requirements. You evaluate the business value driving towards digitalization and leveraging emerging technologies.

• You ensure that the implemented features are aligned with our strategic goals as well as technical and architectural standards.

• You work in a cross functional agile team with both business and IT specialists and closely collaborate with stakeholders from other Squads/Areas.

Your skills and experiences

• University degree with technological or scientific focus or equivalent working experience.

• Experience as a Product Owner or in an equivalent role in Financial Services / Banking using agile practices with understanding of products, front-to-back processes and market/regulatory trends

• Good understanding of architectural patterns (e.g. Microservice architecture) and strong technological knowledge for implementing E2E processes from front to back. Good knowledge of Cloud solutions.

• Great communication skills being able to identify and explain the pros and cons of complex technical solution to non-technical people. You are used proactively structure and manage your work and have very good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• You are a good team player with a passion for technology and engineering and able to communicate fluently in English. German is a Plus.
