We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to drive technical activities needed to recruit and engage automotive manufacturers for Amazon.
Amazon Smart Vehicles (ASV) is creating transformative products and services that enable automotive OEMs to deliver personalized, proactive, and intuitive digital experiences that delight drivers and passengers, keeping them informed, entertained, and productive while in their vehicles.

You have immediate credibility with technologists and developers at all levels, from students to CTOs. You love to share your passion with others and exhibit good judgment in selecting strategic opportunities to do so. Key job responsibilities
- Engage with automotive partners’ developers, architects, hardware engineers and managers to facilitate the integration of ASV’s products into their vehicles
- Educate partners on ASV’s tech stack and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure their solutions are designed for successful deployment
- Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) and prototypes as necessary to demonstrate ASV’s capabilities and evangelize them in the car
- Work proactively to resolve technical issues for partners, spending time on-site as needed helping them integrate our tech stacks
- Work proactively to resolve technical issues for partners develop tools and processes that streamline integration
- Work with the ASV product teams to define requirements for new product features
- Brief Amazon executive teams on progress in adoption
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Munich, BY, DEU
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (or related technical discipline) OR equivalent work experience.
- Experience working in the automotive industry.
- Professional work experience in the design and development of complex systems.
- Confident with two or more programming languages (e.g., C++, Java, JavaScript or Python).
- Previous experience developing software targeting Android, QNX or embedded Linux.
- Experience in a customer-facing, sales-aligned role such as consultant, solutions engineer or solutions architect.
- An advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated effectiveness working across multiple business units to achieve results.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with speech-related hardware systems.
- Experience in the voice processing, smart device or consumer electronics industry.
