RESPONSIBILITIES

The unit Regional Treasury EMEA is responsible for the Treasury and Cash Management activity of BASF entities in EMEA. The activities are divided in the Front Office, Middle Office and Back office teams. Within our Regional Treasury team, we offer you a chance to learn about corporate banking contact and support other middle office activities in a diverse, international team.

  • You are responsible for organizing the Middle Office Bankteam and ensuring a proper division of daily and project tasks.
  • It is your role to identify key areas to focus on within the scope of the banking team.
  • You review processes, tools, and the functioning of bank accounts in order to improve service delivery and team positioning.
  • It is your responsibility to critically review bank performance, including the handling of inquiries, bank products, services, and charging correctness.
  • Additionally, you are the prime escalation contact for bank related topics, to internal and external partners.
  • You ensure that bank administrative tools are updated, published, and shared with stakeholders and maintain close contact with bank dependent teams and departments.
  • Furthermore, you support the development of team members together with the manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • educational background in banking, finance or economics
  • minimum of 2 year experience in banking or with corporate banking
  • proven experience with leadership/coordination roles
  • track-record of leading projects, driving organizational changes
  • good communication skills in English and German
  • able to convincingly convey complex interrelationships to stakeholders within BASF and to build stable relationships
  • pro-active drive in process efficiency and digitalization
BENEFITS
  • Gross annual salary (full-time): 54.000 - 58.000€, depending on qualifications and professional experience. In addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success as well as individual performance.
