ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for a proactive and committed Working Student – Business Affairs to support our Audible Books team, responsible for acquiring and steering original content for Audible’s markets in the EU.
You will support the team that maintains relationships with external stakeholders like authors, editors, translators, narrators and agencies that help us provide our listeners with the best audio storytelling. Through this working student role, you will gain a complete overview of the audio industry and its main players, as well as exposure to a fast paced tech corporate environment.

ABOUT YOU
You have an interest in media/entertainment products, licensing and rights management or aim to develop a career in the audio/books publishing industry. You're comfortable working with documents, data and reports on a daily basis, you posses strong analytical and stakeholder management skills and are able to work in a reliable, organized and structured way.

As a Working Student - Business Affairs, Audible Books, you will...
- Support reporting on acquisition opportunities and titles’ performance
- Coordinate team meetings and manage general administrative tasks
- Process contracts: Handle contract administration and monitoring, e.g. sending and filing contracts, documentation in internal database tools, processing, ensure that deadlines are being kept
- Enter, update and maintenance of our different data repositories
- Support license management administration
- Interface to the finance department, coordinate workflow and communication internally
- Periodically gather title’s information from external stakeholders

- Student position for 20h per week
- Compensation of €15.30 per hour
- 12 months contract

GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN

- Full time enrollment in a German state-accredited (staatlich anerkanntem) Bachelor or Master program, in the Berlin/Brandenburg area, and have at least 1 year of studies left - expected graduation after October 2026
- Business fluency in written and spoken English
- Well versed in Windows operating environment: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

BEVORZUGTE QUALIFIKATIONEN

- Studies in law, media/communications studies, economics, business administration or related disciplines
- Fluency in one of the following languages: French, German, Italian, Spanish
- You enjoy understanding complex processes and communicating such processes to others
- Team player with strong communication skills
- You approach your tasks with confidence and diligence, you display creative thinking and attention to detail
- Interest in books/audio books/ audio dramas / podcasts
- Capability to work reliably and independently
