Working Student Position in the “Standards Department” in the fields of Quality, Health & Safety; Environment & Sustainability; Security & Resilience and Integrated Management Systems of the Business Area Wind,

at the Location Hamburg.

Do you want to be part of Vattenfall's transition to a more sustainable energy system and contribute to the development, construction, and operation of our renewable energies (Onshore & Offshore Wind; Solar and Battery Storage Projects) in the Business Area Wind? A dedicated contact person will provide you with the necessary support and regular feedback.

Your Main Tasks

  • Compile and manage information for reporting & communication
  • Assist in facilitator activities, onboarding processes, and training follow-ups
  • Create and maintain shared calendars, agendas
  • Create and maintain SharePoint site for team collaboration and conduct SharePoint administration
  • Support the organization and logistics of meetings, events, workshops and general administrative tasks.
  • Facilitate the creation, management, and update of documents, presentations, and communications
  • Conduct research and compile informational materials on defined QHSSE & IMS topics

Your profile

  • You study business, economics, engineering, environment & sustainability or a comparable course of studies and are at least in the third semester of your bachelor's degree or in your master's degree and at least be enrolled for another year. 
  • Open and proactive personality
  • Enthusiasm for renewable energy
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in SharePoint
  • Knowledgeable in communication, media, and event management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse cultures and educational backgrounds
  • Ability to work independently and structure tasks effectively
  • Flexible and adaptable to varied task requirements
  • Proficient in standard software packages (Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe)
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Additional Information

  • Start: 3rd June
  • Duration: Three months probationary period with the aim of extension
  • Be enrolled for at least another year
  • Working hours: 15-20 hours per week during the lecture period with the possibility of increase during the lecture-free period
  • Location: Hamburg 
  • Regular physical presence in the office will be expected
