Working Student Software Development (w/m/d)

Your tasks:

• Get an insight into the future railway systems and operations
• You support the colleagues from the Overall Technical Architecture in their daily business and in modelling of software
• Review of documents (specifications, performance descriptions)
• Usage of generally known tools such as Confluence, Jira and SharePoint as well as specific tools like Python or DrawIO

Your profile:

• University study in the field of information science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable course of study as well as programming knowledge would be desirable and would expand your area of responsibility
• Experience in UX/UI design and its implementation regarding computation/execution time, e.g. with Dash, Streamlit or other tools, is desirable
• Proficiency in Python programming and knowledge of data analysis libraries
• Structured, analytical thinking, independent working style and initiative, furthermore you have the ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new tasks and enthusiasm for technical content
• Good knowledge of English and confident handling of common MS Office applications as well as experience with Confluence, SharePoint and JIRA
