Tasks

The Documentation Manager is responsible for:

  • Management of all WH handling processes at the stations in the geographical area in compliance with all relevant directives (safety, security, legal requirements, processes, quality, maintenance of qualifications and skills, etc)
  • Achievement of financial and non-financial handling KPIs, including performance analysis and definition of corrective action in case of deviations
  • Operational steering of own staff as well as activity of service providers
  • Liaison with LCAG handled other carriers, where applicable, to service their needs and relay these to staff
  • Disciplinary leadership of the local handling team
  • Implement innovations that increase productivity and efficiency in processes in cooperation with Production Manager

* Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements

Are you ready to Take-off with us? Know more about the requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • Min. 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the logistics or airline industry
  • Fluency in English language required
  • Advanced professional operations know how and skills in an airline or logistics environment
  • Adequate knowledge of LH Cargo’s processes and organization
  • Good knowledge of comparable international airline/logistics industry structures
  • MS office & iCargo systems as user
  • Excellent business sense
  • Excellent detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem Solving
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Manage constant time pressure
  • Manage high stress levels
  • Must be willing to work shifts
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
