You will work closely with our maintenance teams and get to know the key components of our vehicles and how maintenance is planned and managed.You will be exposed to UK Procurement & Logistics practices that enable the maintenance of the fleet. You will begin to develop your understanding of people management with support from the HR Department and work with all key departments to develop a rounded understanding of essential business functions.Project Management During this period, you will develop the tools necessary for project management and will take responsibility for the delivery of a small project. You will be involved in supporting external client stakeholder management through meeting attendance and internal project meetings.You will develop an understanding of the tools and processes required for project success and will, by the end of the placement, be able to manage sub-projects in a prioritized and structured manner as a Junior Commercial Project Leader.Engineering Services Finally, you will hone your organizational understanding, including organizational structure, Engineering Change Models, relevant systems. You will be introduced to the concept of whole-life cost modelling and be able to produce basic models independently.You will be able to discuss different types of maintenance and be able to devise a maintenance plan. You will be able to use the tools available to you to manage the delivery of your plan and will understand the functionality of our maintenance software. What are we looking for?
